BACK TO THE FISHING REPORT

TIP TOP BASS CLUB OF DALHART TEXAS HELD A ONE-DAY TOURNAMENT, SUNDAY MARCH 30, 2003.

THEY HAD 16 FISHERMEN WITH A TOTAL OF 34 FISH BROUGHT TO THE SCALES. THE TOTAL WEIGHT WAS 50.42 LBS.

FIRST PLACE WAS TOM JESSOP, 5 FISH LIMIT (ALL LARGEMOUTH)
TOTAL OF 10.61 LBS. HE ALSO TOOK BIG BASS WITH A 3.28LB LARGEMOUTH.

SECOND PLACE WAS STEVE WHITE WITH 5 FISH LIMIT OF  7.57LBS

THIRD PLACE WAS JASON MOORE 5 FISH LIMIT 7.26 LBS.

ALL FISH WERE RELEASED ALIVE.

Guys my hat goes off to you, considering the weather we had 2 days prior to your tournament. I think you did a great job! I can’t speak for everyone, but we here at Budget Rentals & Ruf-Nec Tackle really appreciate you for utilizing UTE LAKE for your tournaments.

Hereford Bass Club Tournament Results- March 23, 2003

Hereford Bass Club held a one day tournament Sunday, March 23rd. There were 28 fisherpersons catching a total of 23 Bass weighing a total of 40.16 lbs. Not bad considering the water temp., strong winds, and the cold front that went through earlier in the week. The top finishers were:

1st place -  Chuck Black from Logan, NM    3 fish limit -  5.74 lbs.

2nd place -  Damon Admire from Dumas, TX   2 fish -  3.86 lbs.

Damon Admire had the big Bass for the tournament with a 3.48 lb. largemouth.
